Martina Schall is a conceptual artist based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Born in Tübingen, Germany, she studied contemporary fine art at the renowned and honored artist Franz Erhard Walther at the University of Fine Arts HBFK Hamburg, together with Jonathan Meese and John Bock. She is specialized in visual and interactive works and in sculpture and time-based art. In 1998 she started an international career in collaboration with numerous science institutes and companies.
In her works she investigates, verifies and contemplates the environments in different techniques. Her artwork has been shown, among others, at the Biennale Venice and documenta Kassel.
